On-demand ID Card Printing with Magnetic Stripe Encoding
The Magicard Pronto is a compact, lightweight, and budget-friendly printer ideal for smaller ID programs in need of an on-demand card printing solution. The Pronto is a hand-fed printer, so each ID card is printed individually. Well-suited for low-volume printing, it produces durable cards with sharp images and vibrant colors. It can print a full color ID card in just 35 seconds, while monochrome cards only take 7 seconds.
If your cards will be used for more than visual identification, magnetic stripe encoding is included with this Pronto printer. Magnetic stripe cards are used for everything from student and staff ID cards that allow them to pay for lunch and check items out at the library to time and attendance tracking for hourly employees.
If your organization needs cards with visible security features so you can easily tell authentic cards from counterfeits, Magicard's unique HoloKote system comes standard on the Pronto printer. HoloKote is a secure watermark system that adds watermarks to your cards at no additional cost. The Pronto comes with four HoloKote patterns which you can select from the printer driver.
